Department of Human Life Management, Faculty of Policy Management

For students seeking to become a sports instructor or a sports team administrator.

Students acquire a rich sense of humanity and gain specialized management skills through various studies that emphasize practical work.

Students gain specialized knowledge through the “Cultural Course” and “Sports Course: Sports and Wellness and Sports Management” (Business & Media), which are aimed at developing individuals capable of providing support for cultural activities and sports activities, respectively. The curriculum of study comprises contents for nurturing management skills essential in promoting and supporting cultural activities and sports, through practical learning. Students do not just learn about their specialized field of study but are also given opportunities to gain a perspective on a broad range of fields to formulate their life plans.

Two Courses of Study

Cultural Course Students identify their goals and polish their sensibilities and grounding to achieve them through an experiential learning course and by acquiring arts and sciences in a broad range of fields. Students also nurture their specialized management skills essential in providing support for events related to cultural and artistic activities.
Sports Course
● Sports and Wellness
The knowledge required to work as a professional in sports and to convey the pleasure of sports is acquired through practical and experiential learning.
Students also deepen their understanding about the mechanisms of the human body, by acquiring knowledge and capabilities associated with the world of wellness.
● Sports Management (Business & Media)
Students deepen their understanding of the world of sports through exploration from the perspectives of business and media, which support modern-day sports.
Students also aim to acquire specialized knowledge by analyzing a variety of case examples, both domestic and overseas, as well as by engaging in practical learning.
